Teachers and students from the National Institute of Political Administration of Laos went to the Golden Triangle Economic Zone for inspection and exchange


On November 21, 2025, Xi Zhan, Deputy Director of the Philosophy Department of the National Institute of Political Administration of Laos, led a delegation of teachers and students from the 20th Philosophy Master's Class to visit and exchange ideas in the Golden Triangle Economic Zone of Bokeo Province. Kan Sha Wang, acting director of the special administrative management agency, warmly received the delegation.
At the symposium, the delegation from Xizhan expressed sincere gratitude to the various departments of the special zone for their warm reception. He stated that the purpose of this visit is to investigate the current development status of the special zone in the fields of social and economic development, trade and investment, industrial and agricultural production, and cultural tourism education through a combination of theory and practice. He hopes that this visit will serve as an opportunity to promote experience exchange between the college and the special zone, and establish a long-term friendly cooperative relationship.
King Kansha welcomed the visit of the inspection team and accompanied the teachers and students to watch a documentary on the development of the 18th anniversary of the establishment of the special zone. King Kansha introduced the geographical advantages and socio-economic development process of the special zone, focusing on the development achievements of the special zone in cross-border trade, cultural tourism, infrastructure construction, and agriculture and animal husbandry. During the symposium, both sides also had in-depth exchanges on multiple topics such as social and cultural construction, national defense and security, labor management, and education and medical security.
After the meeting, the delegation visited key projects such as the Golden Triangle International Port, Bojiao International Airport, Golden Triangle Window, and Wanguo Fengqing Street on site, and listened to explanations on the overall planning of the special zone. The rapid development of this emerging modern city on the banks of the Mekong River left a deep impression on the teachers and students of the inspection team.
