Fifty years ago today, under the heroic leadership of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the people of all ethnic groups in Laos achieved a great victory in national liberation, completely breaking free from the shackles of feudalism and colonialism, and ushering in a new era of national independence, freedom, and development. Over the past fifty years, the country has achieved remarkable achievements that have attracted worldwide attention: it has developed from a strong agricultural economy to an independent and autonomous country, with long-term social stability, sustained economic growth, significantly improved people's living standards, and continuously elevated international status. We deeply commemorate the great achievements of revolutionary predecessors such as Chairman Kaishan Phomvihan, and sincerely support every progress made by the country under the leadership of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party led by Comrade Thongloun Sisoulith.
As a national level economic zone in Laos, the Golden Triangle Special Economic Zone is at the forefront of deep integration into regional economic development. We have witnessed and participated in the continuous improvement of the country's infrastructure connectivity, economic corridor construction, and investment environment. The development of the special zone is rooted in the stability and prosperity of the motherland.
