A delegation of Zhejiang enterprises visited the Golden Triangle Special Economic Zone in Laos to discuss cooperation.

  On April 10, 2017, a delegation from Zhejiang Province, led by Wang Zhaoying, President of Yuanbang Holdings Group and Supervisor of the Jiaxing Wenzhou Chamber of Commerce, and Lü Xuezhe, Chairman of Yuanbang Holdings Group, visited the Golden Triangle Special Economic Zone in Laos. The delegation included representatives from Zhejiang Juli Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Lutuo Concrete Materials Co., Ltd., Jiude Capital, Zhejiang Huagou Supermarket Co., Ltd., Jinrong Technology Co., Ltd., Jinrun Real Estate Co., Ltd., Jiaxing Yongdian Real Estate Co., Ltd., and Jiaxing Liancheng Construction and Real Estate Co., Ltd., as well as the President of the Tongxiang Wenzhou Chamber of Commerce and the Executive Vice President of the Jiaxing Wenzhou Chamber of Commerce.

  During the visit, the delegation toured the core areas of the Special Economic Zone, including Chinatown, Kapok Island, Golden Triangle New Village, Lao Ban Khouang Village, and Northwest Heng Village, expressing their sincere respect for the remarkable achievements in the development of the Special Economic Zone.

  At 1:30 PM Vientiane time that afternoon, the delegation held an investment project matchmaking meeting with the Special Economic Zone Management Committee and the Golden Kapok Group. At the meeting, leaders from the Special Economic Zone Management Committee warmly welcomed the delegation and provided a detailed overview of the Special Economic Zone's development, investment attraction policies, and investment protection system. Representatives from the Jinmu Mian Group also introduced the overall development plan of the Special Economic Zone. Subsequently, representatives from various companies within the delegation introduced their business operations and investment intentions.

  After in-depth discussions, the delegation highly praised and fully recognized the Special Economic Zone's development philosophy, tourism resources, and investment and business environment. Delegation members unanimously agreed that the Special Economic Zone possesses abundant resources, enormous investment potential, and broad development prospects, and clearly expressed their willingness to focus on in-depth cooperation with the Special Economic Zone in the fields of tourism development, rehabilitation and convalescence, and other medical and health sectors.

  Following the meeting, the delegation conducted on-site investigations of specific projects for which preliminary agreements were reached, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation negotiations.
