
On November 26, 2016, a delegation jointly organized by China Radio International and Beijing Wanzhong International Travel Service arrived in the Golden Triangle Special Economic Zone for a three-day inspection tour.
During the tour, the delegation visited key attractions within the Special Economic Zone, including Chinatown, Kapok Island, Golden Triangle Village, Lao Ban Kuang Village, and Northwest Heng Village. They also visited surrounding tourist sites such as Widow Village, the naval base of four countries, the site of Naw Kham's capture, a rosewood processing factory, Nangeng Temple, and the One-Armed Buddha, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the tourism resources of the Special Economic Zone and its surrounding areas.

During the tour, a reporter from China Radio International conducted an exclusive interview with Zhao Wei, Chairman of the Special Economic Zone Management Committee. Chairman Zhao answered the reporter's questions in detail, systematically explaining the Special Economic Zone's development philosophy and core advantages, focusing on core issues such as tourism project planning, preferential policies for investment attraction, and future development strategies.

In addition, the delegation held investment project matchmaking meetings with the Special Economic Zone Management Committee and the Golden Kapok Group. At the meeting, the delegation highly praised and fully recognized the special economic zone's development philosophy, tourism resource value, and excellent investment environment. After in-depth exchanges, the delegation members unanimously agreed that the special economic zone possesses abundant resources, enormous investment potential, and broad development prospects, and clearly expressed their willingness to focus on promoting in-depth cooperation with the special economic zone in the tourism sector.
